Tiki Tuesday - July 13, 2010

Tiki Tuesday started promptly at 6:30pm. The group put-in at the Sand Bar on Lake Elizabeth's South East Side and paddleled North to the channel that conects Lake Elizabeth and Lake Marie. Along the way they were able to see deep into the clear waters of Southern Wisconsins Twin Lakes.


Upon the return of the group, ...I met them at the shore and take-out point (The Sand Bar). After all the kayaks and gear were put away, we went inside The Sand Bar for some refreshments and a bite to eat. After wetting our whistles, we taked about creating a club and different names for it. The name of the club will end with the words "Adventure Club". Here are a some of the ideas: Horizon, 4-seasons, Off Road, 2K, U-Name It, Nippersink, Wild Edge, Wild Side, Around The Bend, Clear Skies - (at this point the refreshments were serving their purpose) Get Off Your Ass, Fuzzy Memory, Free Birds...

By the time the Adventure Club meets again, hopefully we will choose one of these names or think of another.
